The work to be developed has a focus on establishing, through the period of 3 years, an appropriate base framework of management and operation of an utility, promoting capacity building and supporting all activities related with the utility on-going operation and management (through the resident team, with specialists in the areas of Production, Operation, Commercial, Financial, Human Resources, Water Quality, among others), starting by developing an adequate strategy and implementing it, assisting the Board, optimizing management, as well as by improving organization and developing a consolidated approach to promote level and quality of service.
DouroECI is responsible for the technical assistance on several areas: project support for the full project scope (including technical back-office, project management and field visits), deliverables development and quality assurance / quality control, and having a key presence in the information systems area, implementing the maintenance management system and a reporting system, as well as supporting the project management and implementation of the CMS and FMS. In addition, DouroECI will also be responsible for the development of the Master Plan, as well as for monitoring all ongoing activities.
